Foil Balloon Quality Control Checklist Before Shipment
A good balloon inside a mislabelled retail pack is still a failed delivery. Shipment inspection must follow the SKU all the way into the carton.
Release a shipment against the approved product, retail pack, carton data and recorded inspection findings.
Freeze the approved reference
Before production, agree the version of artwork, inflated size, color reference, valve type, package components and carton mark. Keep a signed or otherwise traceable reference so a later change cannot silently replace the approved product.
Inspect function and appearance
Check print registration, shape, seal consistency, valve operation and an agreed inflation or leakage test against the approved sample. Define defect categories and sampling method in the purchase order rather than arguing about a generic pass rate at the loading dock.
Inspect the retail and shipping layers
Confirm the correct balloon is in the correct pack, with the intended barcode, instructions, accessories, count and batch marks. Verify master-carton quantity, SKU labels and packing list against the actual cartons.
Release with evidence
Ask for a concise inspection report identifying lots, inspected quantity, findings, corrective actions and final disposition. A passed inspection supports shipment release; it does not replace destination-market product responsibilities.
