GPSR traceability requires businesses to connect consumer products with identifiable economic operators, product identifiers, safety information and market actions. Online listings must support the physical product file.
“The pack showed a batch code, but the marketplace listing had no responsible-person details.”
For a manufacturer outside the EU, the supply chain must determine the responsible person required by the applicable rules and display the relevant name, postal and electronic address. Product type, batch or serial identifiers, manufacturer and importer details, and warnings should be consistent across physical goods and distance-sale offers. The GPSR applies alongside sector-specific legislation, so toy obligations are not replaced.

Treat the product, pack, technical records and online offer as four views of one controlled SKU.

A logistics address is not automatically an authorized responsible person. Contracts, tasks and contact details must support the legal role. Listing content should be reviewed whenever the product or operator changes.

FoilJoy can align production records, product identifiers and packaging fields for the agreed SKU. Fully customized foil balloons require 5,000 pcs per design. Factory production targets 10 days after final artwork and order approval; tooling, samples, freight and customs take additional time. Related: Plan your EU file · More EU guides.
